Pastor Chuck & Sue Dye
Pastor Chuck & Sue Dye
Some churches profess that their preacher loves and cares for any and all people that come to their church but, you don't see it happening but, at our church we see it happening every time the church doors open. Pastor Chuck is comfortable talking to you at church or away from church and you know he is sincere. Sue is the same way and we all know she'll listen to us and help when and where she can.
Their family has been blessed with several new grandbabies over the past few years. Pastor Chuck has even been fortunate enough to baptize them in our church. It's been such a blessing for all of us to be able to see this.
Now they have one more member of their family. Sue's father has come to live with them. It'll be so nice to see them all at church every Sunday.
Pastor Chuck and Sue are prepared to greet you at the door with a friendly handshake and a smile.
Daniel Jensen showing his Civil Air Patrol award. He's our resident Youth Ministry leader and has been a member of the church since he was "knee high to a grasshopper." He runs the sound system for the church, plus, he's an accomplished guitarist and accompanies Pastor Chuck during our song service. He's all set to go into the National Guard this summer (Airbourne). He's got a friendly smile and makes visitors feel welcome.
Terry Judkins
Terry Judkins, our Head Usher and Sunday School Superintendant, is such a ball of energy. He seems to be everywhere making you feel welcome and keeping on-going events on track.
He really makes the Sunday School class come alive with his way of teaching. He encourages group participation and discussion of the lessons.
We're happy to have him as a member.
Birthday Girl ~ Eileen Frey
Eileen was definitely surprised when she arrived at Sue's for a "Ladies Get-Together." Turns out it was Surprise Birthday Party for her. She had a great time with everyone. She enjoyed the cards and gifts and especially the fellowship with all the ladies. It was such a blessing for her and for us, too. Happy Birthday Eileen!!
Ke' Shawn Ayers going to Virginia soon.
Ke's Shawn posed for me so I could get a nice picture of him before his move to VA. We'll all miss him and his family so much. He's been coming here since he was a baby and we all watched him grow up to be such a handsome young man. We have great hopes of a great future for him, too. He's a guy that loves the Lord and speaks up when he needs Prayer for a friend or family member. We Pray his faith stays strong no matter where he lives. And maybe, he'll remember us, too and drop us a line in the mail.
Sheldon & Ellen Hatheway
Now here is one nice couple. They keep our church going through their concerted efforts. Sheldon plays the organ and keeps a lot of office things going and on the right track. Ellen with her quiet presence shows her love of the Lord through her friendship to us all.
