Prayer Requests

When you're in need of Prayer or know someone who is, please contact us and let us know. We'll be happy to Pray for your needs and it will allow others who read these pages to Pray. Prayer is a special time with God and a chance to renew your time with Him and to let Him know of other needs.

Yes, God is all-seeing and all-knowing, but He likes to know you will come to Him at any time when Prayer is needed for someone, including yourself. So, take time share your Prayer needs with us. It'll be a blessing for you and definitely a blessing for us who want to Pray for others.

As I like to say, "You need the Prayers; we need the practice."

Mert J is in a lot of pain. Pray God gives him relief and heals him. Mert has bone cancer and has been under treatment for quite a while and the pain can get really bad, even with medication. He gives the glory to God for him still being alive. He said it's the Prayers that are keeping him going. Praise the Lord!
UPDATE: Mert will be starting a new experimental medical regimen for his bone cancer this Thursday. Pray it works and gets healed.

Memorial Service for Galen Stanfield
Saturday, October 24, at 2 PM
Pray for his wife, Kathy, and the rest of the family during this time of loss. We know he's with Jesus but, we weren't ready to let go.

Annie R is having a lot of problems with her blood sugar and new medication. Pray God fixes these problems quickly so, she can get back in church.

Our church has several young adults who are enlisted, enlisting or considering enlisting in the National Guard. Pray God guides these young people so, they make right choices while serving our country. Pray they all get Saved, too. Some are already Saved so, Pray they set an example others will want to follow.

Don P, my husband, is having pain in both knees. Pray God heals him and takes away the pain.

Lory J is still having depression. Pray God lifts that spirit from her.

Update: Don P, my husband, was offered a new route with a lot of stops. Pray God continues sending viable solutions to these current problems.

Update & Praise: Bob S has been learning to stand again and they're trying to re-teach him to take steps. He is using a board to get back into a bed now, instead of a lift. His scooter was taken back for someone else so, he's moving his arms around a lot and has more mobility with a regular wheelchair. Praise the Lord!

Edna G, in Worcester, MA, is still suffering from dementia. The meds are working. Her daughter, Tracy, decided the best thing to do for her was to move her in with her and the family. Pray God guides her.

Michele S, in OK, continues to need Prayers for the stress & work problems to lessen. She was promoted to Head Housekeeper. She has a few health issues that God needs to fix. Pray it happens quickly.

"What does it mean to pray in Jesus' name?"

Answer: Prayer in Jesus’ name is taught in John 14:13-14, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it..” Some mistakenly apply this verse by believing that saying “In Jesus’ name” at the end of a prayer results in God always granting what is asked for. This is essentially treating the words “in Jesus’ name” as a magic formula. This is absolutely unbiblical!

Praying in Jesus’ name means praying with His authority and asking God the Father to act upon our prayers because we come in the name of His Son, Jesus. Praying in Jesus' name means the same thing as praying according to the will of God, "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." (1 John 5:14-15). Praying in Jesus’ name is praying for things that will honor and glorify Jesus.

Easy Way to Know How to Be Saved!

How do I get to Heaven? - You Must be Born Again
You cannot get to heaven by good works.
You must be born again!
With all your heart, you must trust Jesus Christ
and Him alone to save your soul.
