Tuesday evenings, 7 PM – 8:00 PM, I am teaching what I call "Bible 101" at our home. It is going to be a basic Bible study. We will begin with the parallel Gospels, Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and continue on from there. Feel free to invite friends and family regardless of whether they attend the church or not.

I am teaching a membership class during the Sunday school hour; if you would like to become a member of the Canby Church of the Nazarene plan on attending this class. This class will be held in the fellowship room every Sunday from 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM. In a few weeks, we will be starting the new cell groups at Donald and Oregon City. Be Praying for the Lord's guidance in this.

If you would like to help out on Church Work Day, just show up with your work gloves and you'll be put to work. All help is welcomed and appreciated. Be sure to bring a sack lunch, too and fellowship with everyone. Good food, good company. Not a bad deal, huh?

We need regular helpers when we have an event or the monthly "Potluck" at church. So, please don't hesitate to offer your help. You'd be amazed how much fun it is during the preparation and clean up after one of these events. It is truly a blessing, try it once and see. The fellowshipping is a way of getting to know everyone and you get closer & can form a lasting friendship.

Volunteers needed to help on Potluck Sunday's to help Clara and Sue set up and clean up. ~ First Sunday of the month

Wednesday nights is our Wednesday Prayer service, at 7 PM. It is also the night when Pastor Chuck takes time to teach his Tae Kwon Do class for the kids of our church, free. The class starts at 6 PM, for those interested.

Here is our latest, “Soldier, in Training.” He's in the National Guard Boot Camp now, in Georgia. He'll love hearing from you while he's there. Contact his mom or dad for his address. When I get it, I'll be happy to share it with you. Like Shelbi said while she was there, "Mail Call is the favorite part of the week.

Justin, on the left, shaking Daniel's hand, is also going into the Army, in November. I'll be happy to put in a military photo when I get one of Daniel. Our young people sure make us proud of them. They are willing to serve our country with pride. Let's Pray God keep them all safe during their time of service.
